A Smart CSSD is our concept of merging - new digital technologies, A.I driven platforms, and IoT enabled devices - with the existing systems and procedures of the Central Sterilization and Supplies Department (CSSD) of hospitals.  

Within a SMART CSSD is a digital platform that tracks, monitors, and gathers data throughout the instrument reprocessing ecosystem. Perfect Wash Control System and Instant Biological Monitoring

Using chemical indicators from organic formulation with no blood components and can be used together with the load, the perfect wash monitoring system in the CSSD can be achieved.  

With an instantaneous biological monitoring system, the sterilization process can now be validated in record time with extreme precision to accelerate workflow while upholding the sterilization quality.  

Indicator technologies in the SMART CSSD are automatically interpreted and registered onto the cloud using an AI analysis device with precision that goes beyond human capabilities.

Sophisticated Instrument Logistics Software

The material flow throughout the ecosystem is managed and controlled through an integrated software that incorporates instrument marking, equipment logistics, and full documentation of the reprocessing cycle.  

Using RFID chips that are embedded into the medical devices and transport medium, the unique identification and traceability of these equipment can be tracked and monitored.  

With case cart logistics, automated transport, storage, provision, and distribution of medical devices are regulated to provide transparent and cost-efficient planning in the OT.

A.I. Enabled IoT Module

IoT enabled modules supported through A.I learning will track in real time the stages of processing of instruments within the hospital ecosystem.

The CSSD staff will be provided with BLE wristbands to receive reminders and notifications throughout their operations and to track minimize the number of people inside the decontamination space to increase workflow efficiency and safety.  

Transport trolleys and vehicles will be equipped with location sensors enabling the platform to track their locations during the logistics process.
